Hello again!
We're at our final campsite! Only 54 miles to go, safe to say, we're all pretty tired but thrilled that we've nearly completed our challenge.
Today we've had a bit of fun (keeping morale high close to the end) but having challenges... Russ would hide in the town and then the first person to him got a prize which they could either except or pass on - if they passed it on then they would have to accept the boobie prize instead, if not then they could nominate someone to accept the boobie prize. So far... Rich has got all the boobie prizes and is now cycling across France in fishnet tights, purple nail varnish and an inflatable stingray (callled Syd). He will have to keep theses items on until he reaches the Royal Oak in the UK tomorrow at 5ish - it keeps us smiling!
As we near the end of the trip we'd like to thank a few people: Russ - our standby(arabi) driver, without who we would not have been able to continue with the trip, John and Valarie - Who made the whole trip possible again with the payment for the van (from Kent hire) THANK YOU! Pearce cycles - who have donated and given us discount on parts as well as providing us with cycling jerseys, Step Out Training and Theropy - For buying the supplements that USN Energy suggested and finally Everyone who has supported and donated throughout the organisation stage and the trip itself.
Thank you all very much!
See you all soon!
