Update 21st July
Posted by France and Back Team on Saturday, July 21, 2012
Well here I am again to give you all the latest update.
Please may you all accept my appologies for the poor grammer on the previouse update, I was updating using my phone and this caused great difficulties, i.e. Arabi Driver = Standby driver........ but hey I now have a laptop so all is good....
Anyway I left you as the riders were heading to Anglare, this was for a quick rest and top up of their water bottles and at this point they were all feeling good and still smiling. The next part of the journey was a ride to Saint - Pere where the camp was set up for the night. They got lost on the way in and arrived late very tired and worn out.
The following morning it was back on the bikes for the ride to Dijon, stopping at Gommeville, Saint - Marc - Sur Sseine and Chanceaux. It was the last leg of this journey that the hills started, big hills that is. When the riders arrived at Dijon they were very tired and looking forward to the first rest day. We took the opertunity to drive into the local village for a well earned Pizza and a beer. The rest of the day was spent keeping out of the terential rain maintaning bikes and resting.
Today 21st July we were up at six am and the sun is shinning and the riders are now on their way to Brazey-en-Plaine, then on to La Chassagne and Lons-Le-Saunier before arriving tonght at a campsite at Chancia.
Please keep giving them lots of support as today is the day that they are starting to atack some really big hills......
